Service Description
The purpose of the Interlake Women's Resource Centre is to provide front line services to women and their children experiencing domestic violence. In many cases there is a very real need to provide crisis intervention. Reaching out to our organization, in person or by phone, will set the wheels in motion. We also provide referrals to outside agencies. We will arrange for transportation to a shelter and develop a protection plan. For your convenience and privacy, we are able to provide access to internet, phone, fax, and photocopier. We also have Commissioners of Oaths available in regards to sensitive documents. Our counsellors are also trained in preparing and assisting with protection orders.
